Aunt Barb’s Home Placement Service is owned by Barbara Mashburn, a local resident of the East Valley of Phoenix. Barbara has over 20 years’ experience operating a private group home, as well as several years assisting clients, family, and friends find the living situation that best serves to meet each person’s needs.
Serving her community in various organizations, including East Valley Council on Aging, Maricopa Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance, Human Services for Professionals, SPOTLIGHT Senior Services and Living Options, and RAIN, Barbara has become well known for her professionalism, willingness to help others, honesty and integrity. She continually strives to stay current on services and programs available to help individuals in need of assistance.
Barbara is a certified trainer for the Powerful Tools for Caregivers program and has also provided educational presentations for Assistant Living Homeowners Association, Mercy Housing properties, and several other organizations.
