Aunt Barb’s Home Placement Service is owned by Barbara Winget, a local resident of the East Valley of Phoenix. Barbara has more than 2 decades’ experience assisting clients, family, and friends find the living situation that best serves to meet each person’s needs, preferences and social requirements. She strives to offer solutions which will meet both the immediate and long-term needs of the client. She strives to offer solutions which address not only the immediate needs, but also the needs her clients are unlikely to have long term.
Serving her community in various organizations, including East Valley Council on Aging, Maricopa Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance, Human Services for Professionals Association, and Resources Awareness Information Networking. Barbara has become well known for her professionalism, willingness to help others, honesty and integrity. She continually strives to stay current on services and programs available to help individuals in need of assistance.
Barbara is a certified trainer for the Powerful Tools for Caregivers program and has also provided educational presentations for Assistant Living Homeowners Association, Mercy Housing properties, and several other organizations.
